A man arrested after a shooting involving hip-hop star Fetty Wap in his New Jersey hometown is facing assault charges after police say he pistol whipped someone.
Police said the rapper was not injured and that the three who were, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
A short time later, police received word of a third shooting victim who was being treated at Hackensack University Medical Center after admitting himself for care.
Fetty Wap is not snitching and the suspect in his robbery shooting who is now behind bars likely to walk free.
The Paterson resident is CEO and owner of Muscle Team Entertainment, a company that promotes hip-hop.
Though Mr Thomas is a longtime rival of Fetty Wap, he denied that he had taken the chain.
Police did not provide details on whether the victims were connected to Fetty or confirm what led to the shooting, the newspaper reported. Fuzz was booked for gun possession and assault after he showed off Fetty Wap's stolen chain on Instagram.
The "Trap Queen" rapper was uninjured.
Thomas reportedly posted a picture of Maxwell's stolen chain on Instagram, claiming he wasn't the person that took it. While Fuzz hasn't been charged in the shooting, he was reportedly using a gun he was not legally allowed to carry.
Fetty was robbed early Sunday morning while in Paterson, New Jersey.
It's also unclear if the injured parties had a connection to Fetty.
