Seahawks QB Trevone Boykin Arrested After His Car Crashed Into a Bar

Fox 4 television in Dallas and the Star-Telegram in Fort Worth reported Boykin was a passenger in the auto that hit Sidebar Bar in Dallas' Uptown section around 2 a.m. Monday. Police also arrested the driver, 25-year-old Shabrika Baley, on felony intoxication assault with a vehicle charges.

Boykin, 23, faces misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana less than two ounces and public intoxication.

Boykin appeared in six games last season, throwing for 145 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Dallas police will be talking to the NFL.

The Seahawks quarterback and former TCU star was booked into Dallas County Jail at 4:43 a.m., according to online records.

He was suspended for the Alamo Bowl after a December 31, 2015 incident in which he allegedly hit a police officer who was trying to break up a fight. The news station was quick to point out that this wasn't Boykin's first run in with the law.
