The powerful midfielder started the season away from Pep Guardiola's first-team plans amid a dispute between the manager and Dimitri Seluk, the Ivorian's agent.
Toure's contract at the Etihad runs out at the end of the season and there has been no indication of signing a new deal.
Until now he had not been doing so but Seluk says the situation has changed. Before March, we didn't negotiate with anybody because Yaya does a lot with Manchester City, so we waited. "But we can not wait until the last minute".
"Definitely. I love this football club", he told Sky Sports when asked if he would like to stay. Now we have three options.
The 23-year-old midfielder was however, involved in another major talking point following an incident with Manchester City star Yaya Toure. He will play in Europe. I have spoken with clubs in different countries - Italy and Spain.
"I understand this is two clubs who are rivals but for me, for example, this is not a problem from Yaya or from me".
But after City were heavily criticised in the wake of the Monaco loss, Toure disagrees with suggestions they will not be able to win trophies under Guardiola's free-flowing style. From the beginning of the season until now we have always showed we want to attack and score goals, that is the most important thing. "Why not! I know José Mourinho very well and Yaya has previously played with Ibrahimovic in Barcelona".
"We know what we want, the fans as well, the club, the chairman, and what I have to do is my best, try to achieve everything and to help this club for as long as possible".
