The latter will feature interviews with Pearl Mackie, Peter Capaldi, and Steven Moffat, and is narrated by Ingrid Oliver.

Season 10 premieres Saturday, April 15 at 9/8c on BBC America, and will be followed by the US debut of the Doctor Who spin-off series Class. "The role of companion is as central as the role of the Doctor".

The wait will soon be over, and Monday saw the release of the first trailer for the upcoming season, which will be the final one for star Peter Capaldi (who took over the role, via regeneration, from Matt Smith in 2014). "Casting a new companion is every bit as hard as casting a new Doctor", says the show's executive producer Steven Moffat in a new behind-the-scenes clip.

The Doctor is also ominously heard telling Bill: "Something is coming, and I have the feeling we are going to be very busy".

Part of the "Doctor Who" Season 10 cast this time is also Matt Lucas as Nardole. Missy (Michelle Gomez) has appeared in a new video reacting to the fresh footage with deadpan flair (and a certain disappointment that she's not in it more). And like Clara - and many of those who came before them, actually - Bill is not afraid to ask or tell the Doctor whatever's on her mind. The Cybermen were featured in the show over 50 years ago and Capaldi's the Doctor will battle them during the season's two-part finale. Get ready to have the time of your life with the Doctor, Bill, and Nardole Saturday, April 15th at 9/8c on BBC America followed by the premiere of the new spin-off, Class.
