Police say Saskatoon man live-streamed child porn from Romania, Philippines

Murphy, a former Pace firefighter, is charged in relation to the alleged crimes where police say Charles McConnell III, 22, was using the app Kik to share pornographic video depicting sexual abuse of a child younger than 12 years old.

State officials have arrested a Brownwood man for child pornography after a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Michael Shane-Lourcey Clements, 25, faces a single count of possession of child pornography.

The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE unit) began its investigation in early February 2017 after child pornography was uploaded to a social media account that was operated by Chicoine.

Multiple images of children younger than 10 were found, and the electronic devices were seized for forensic analysis, said Salomonsky, of the sheriff's office. The women in Romania have been arrested and charged and authorities say the children involved are now safe.

A search of a home in March turned up evidence related to the investigation.

Danny Murphy, 37, made his first court appearance Friday for the charges after a federal grand jury indicted him with conspiracy, receipt and possession of child pornography. He is next set to appear in court Monday for a bail hearing.
