Google has just announced the discontinuation of Chromebook Pixel laptop in which they told the public about the dismissal of plans the 2017 iteration of the product.

Google senior VP of hardware, Rick Osterloh, has confirmed that there will be a successor to the original Pixel smartphone, and the exact word used to described this particular category to AndroidPIT? So from my opinion, I think both of the Google Pixel devices are mid-range devices, it's not bad if you gonna use the Google Pixel XL or Google Pixel it's much better than any mid-range smartphone. But while the search engine giant-turned smartphone manufacturer never failed to amaze users for their timely, consistent updates and fixes, there's another way to enjoy Google Pixel. How?

"There's an annual rhythm in the industry".

"You can count on a successor this year, even if you don't hear a date from me now", teased Osterloh when asked about the tentative date the Google Pixel 2 may get launched.

A few weeks back, a report had claimed that Google was working on a cheaper "Pixel" model for the masses.

Extended periods of handset shortages have become the norm for the Pixel's so far, and Google should concentrate on this if its next device is to compete with 2017's flagship smartphones.

A phone which costs a premium and comes from Android's own home should come with the least amount of trouble surrounding it - especially since it commands a price that not everyone can afford and also costs the company millions in advertisement expenditure.

We expect to find out more about the Pixel 2 as well as the rumored budget smartphone from Google in the coming months.

Apart from this, the Pixel 2 must also have ample supply to meet the consumers' demand. In the meantime, let us know what you want/expect from the Google Pixel 2?

The small update is update 4.3 and allowing camera sounds to be disabled has been something that many fans have wanted. While Samsung already espouses the standard in its existing device - the Samsung Galaxy S7, Google is expected to endow its Pixel 2 device with either an IP67 or IP68 certified body, according to Trusted Reviews.
