If you've been frustrated by the signal issues on your new Nintendo Switch controller and are handy with DIY tools, you might be able to fix it yourself.

Do I need a Nintendo Switch screen protector?

Nintendo has also published an FAQ claiming that dead or stuck pixels on the Switch should be treated as "normal", with no specified allowance for how many dead pixels qualifies a device for replacement.

The latest and greatest gaming console from Nintendo was just released Friday, but getting your hands on one in Denver is proving hard. 2013's main offerings, on the other hand, were more Mario games, with Super Mario 3D World and New Super Luigi U. Nintendo has addressed this on its website, advising users to make sure they have the latest software update and to not use the Switch "behind a TV, placed in or under a metal object, or pressed against a large amount of wires and cords". As far as we can tell, there's no way to do so using just the controller - as you would on the Xbox One or PlayStation 4.

The Nintendo Switch is available now.
