The super model is the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2017 cover model. To date, the blonde beauty has appeared in big screen comedy, The Other Woman, alongside Cameron Diaz as well as smaller projects like her leading role in Lady Antebellum's music video "Bartender".
Those two had received a lot of attention of the past week or so for their gorgeous pictorials, but Upton is the one making every headline today. It had been 38 years since she had first appeared on the cover in 1979. "She also had a list of photographers and hair and makeup people she would only work with".
So just when it seems like Kate Upton is slipping off the radar she reminds us once again why she's one of the best in the business. Since debuting in 1964, Swimsuit has become a pop-culture phenomenon and a revered launching pad for successful careers in TV, fashion, business and film, including those of Elle Macpherson, Kathy Ireland, Cheryl Tiegs, Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, Kate Upton, Chrissy Teigen and Ashley Graham.
This year will be no different after seeing Kate Upton's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover for 2017.

Kate Upton is known for seriously working out. Then in 2014, she even landed an acting role alongside Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann in "The Other Woman".
But despite its reputation, the editor of the annual issue is speaking out about body diversity.
"Ultimately, I want people to feel comfortable with their body", Williams declares. That's a balance of working hard and eating healthy but also enjoying life and having cheat days and for the emphasis not to be on the ideal flawless body.
"I was very excited when MJ asked me to be back in the issue", Upton said. Upton is the first to have tied Brinkley's record. The fun continues on Saturday with a lineup of local Houston musicians and a headlining performance by Grammy Award-winning producer and DJ Diplo.
However the issue also features top athletes Serena Williams and Simone Biles, and has received praise for including strong women whose bodies help them achieve incredible sporting feats.
The American model posed nude on the beach, wearing only a cut-out swimsuit applied by bodypaint, but said she had no qualms about the set-up as she no longer struggles with body confidence.
Sports Illustrated Swimsuit (www.SI.com/Swimsuit) reaches more than 70 million USA adults annually and more men 18 to 34 than the Super Bowl. Here's a link to every SI Swimsuit cover on the SI website.

"A traditionalist may imagine that identifying as a feminist while simultaneously desiring to be a near-naked model in Sports Illustrated must bely some level of cognitive dissonance", Dalbesio wrote for si.com.
