Amid the endless reports and speculations about the longstanding tensions between Jordan Rodgers and his brother Aaron, sources say that the former Bachelorette star just wants things to blow over.
Aaron Rodgers, however, declined to comment on his brother's comments about the family divide and said he'd never watched Jordan on the reality show.
Ed Rodgers also added that, "Fame can change things". The interview did not seem to imply that Munn had anything to do with the family rift and it seems that the timing could be merely coincidental.
The circumstances in which the family's private business became a national story were "weird", Ed Rodgers acknowledged. At the time, Aaron said, "As far as those kinds of things go, I've always found that it's a little inappropriate to talk publicly about some family matters, so I'm just - I'm not going to speak on those things, but I wish him well in the competition".
On the show, Jordan explained to his future fiancé, "It's just the way he's chosen to do life".
In July 2016, Aaron expressed his feelings on the estrangement going public due to Jordan's stint on a reality TV show.
"It would have been nice to share JoJo with not only my parents and my brother Luke, but Aaron as well", Jordan said at the time.
Dang. We really would have loved to see him crying with Oprah.
Aaron Rodgers may not be on speaking terms with his family, but the Green Bay Packers quarterback is making an effort to not worsen the ongoing feud.
It's so heartbreaking to hear these details on this Rodgers family matter, but perhaps things will be repaired some day.
Aaron has reportedly not spoken with his family since 2014, around the time he started dating actress Olivia Munn.
Although Aaron had yet to meet his brother's fiancée as of last August, Jordan told PEOPLE that his older brother is "absolutely" invited to his wedding. Of course, this meant that the entire world heard about Aaron and Jordan Rodgers' drama.
