Out of all the Justice League members that are getting films, it was looking like Green Lantern was the most up in the air. It has been reported that Warner has hired new writers for Green Lantern Corps, which will feature two ring-wearing crime-fighting heroes.
Goyer helped write the Dark Knight Trilogy, Man of Steel, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Batman v Superman, Jumper, the Blade trilogy, and the 1998 TV Movie Nick Fury: Agent of Shield, which starred David Hasselhoff.
The description of the Green Lantern Corps screenplay states that the movie will have a Lethal Weapon type feel, but in space. He has been a mainstay of the DC Comics Universe and the Green Lantern roster since.
Green Lantern Corps is slated for a 2020 release.
Goyer will produce while DC President Geoff Johns and Jon Berg will executive produce, based on a treatment by Goyer and Johns. / DC have announced that David Goyer and Justin Rhodes will be writing the upcoming Green Lantern Corps. It's unknown whether DCEU would decide to go with John Stewart as the main Green Lantern for the reboot. We got the most forgettable, cookie-cutter superhero movie ever. Jordan and Stewart would butt heads many a time in the comics with Jordan feeling Stewart had a problem with authority figures. For John Stewart, there has been the longtime fan favorite Idris Elba (who now plays Heimdall in Marvel's Thor franchise), but no actor has lobbied for the role harder than Fast and Furious star Tyrese Gibson. Stewart is another popular version-a black, former Marine sniper who is brought on to be Jordan's backup.
What we don't know yet is.nearly anything else.
