Last Lumia or not, the 650 is already getting mixed descriptions: "To its credit, the Lumia 650 was described it as having a very nice fit and finish, appearing, even more, luxurious in hand than the Lumia 950 variants".

Of course, if the phone becomes available in Germany in early February, it makes sense that the Microsoft Lumia 650 release will also reach other markets at the same time. The specific dates of the operating system's rollout for telecoms have not been revealed, but it is expected to be released this month. However, according to Express, the nearing cancellation of the Lumia handset could possibly indicate the start of the highly rumored mobile handset from the Redmond-based tech giant, the Microsoft Surface Phone.

If you've recently purchased a new Lumia 950 or Lumia 950 XL or if you purchase one soon, claim your one-year subscription to Office 365 Personal. This should allow the device to run Windows 10 Mobile quite smoothly, but high-end features such as Continuum won't be supported. However, Microsoft wants to thank the user by presenting the so-called "Microsoft's Window Device Recovery Tool" to support the user in updating smartphones. The company is relying on the reputation of Surface to get its smartphone sales moving. In addition, 86 percent of respondents indicated that keeping current with Windows 10 service branch releases was main consideration for carrying out SCCM upgrades.

Despite many rumors about Lumia 750 and 850, the source cited above also reported that the company has cancelled those in an effort to focus on the "Panos Phone", otherwise known as the Surface Phone. Alternatively, the company could be intending to retain Lumia but only use it for its budget phones. For now, this remains nothing more than speculation. Microsoft took the line over when it bought Nokia's mobile device business two years ago. The update has yet to roll-out to older Lumias.
